I Need help with

Body image

Body image is the relationship we have with our body and appearance. They way we feel about ourselves can be influenced by our size, weight, gender identity, or how our bodies function.

Having concerns about body image is very common, but for some, it can lead to mental health problems if not addressed early.

Reaching out for support and treatment can improve self-esteem and self-acceptance, both of which are important for physical and mental wellbeing.

Who can help me in the NT?

If you are unsure about who to talk to or who can help, a good place to start is your local GP. If you live in a small town or community, your local health clinic or community service are the best places to go, as they can refer you to specialist support.
