Relationships

Relationships are hugely important in our lives. The bonds we form with others are vital to our mental and emotional wellbeing, so when problems develop it can leave us feeling distressed.

If your relationship has some of the early warning signs or a breakdown, it’s time to seek advice. The sooner you act on issues, the easier they will be to resolve. Some relationships involve violence, controlling behaviour and abuse. If you suffer any form of violence, seek help immediately.

Who can help me in the NT?

If you are unsure about who to talk to or who can help, a good place to start is your local GP. If you live in a small town or community, your local health clinic or community service are the best places to go, as they can refer you to specialist support.
